About the menu

Sun Raj Curry House in Bukit Gasing is a vibrant South Indian and Indian restaurant that excels in delivering authentic flavors alongside a diverse menu. Known for its generous vegetarian offerings, the restaurant serves crisp fried cauliflower and flavorful kicap chicken, perfectly paired with steamed rice. Their apam, a soft, fluffy pancake priced affordably, stands out as a must-try, offering a delightful end to any meal. Coffee lovers will appreciate their expertly blended coffee, making the spot a cozy tea store and coffee shop as well.

The menu balances traditional staples like idli and poori with inventive local twists such as Maggie goreng and various fried snacks from a separate stall. While some dishes lean towards basic presentation, the taste and portion sizes impress, especially the green leafy vegetable stir-fries, which add a healthy touch. Overall, Sun Raj Curry House serves hearty, authentic Indian meals in a casual setting, making it a reliable pitstop for both takeaway and dine-in experiences.

Decent sized corner shop in which you can get Indian food and some goreng goreng noodle rice items too. There is this small stall that sells good fried items in which you have to pay separately. I simply chose 2 fried items and they were enjoyable. Apam @ RM3 per piece is recommended! Very nicely done;)))) Poori looks mediocre but it was one of the nicer items we had;) I had their Maggie goreng. It was spicy in a good way with alot more vege in which I appreciate;)) indo mee goreng wasn't great in terms of noodle texture, I would skip this. They didn't use the classic indo mee. I would return to try other food items.
